After earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree with honors from Temple University, Dr. Griffitts completed a rigorous four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center. His expertise includes wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, facial trauma, cosmetic injectables, and complex facial reconstruction—all performed with a focus on patient comfort and safety.

Dr. Griffitts has published research in multiple peer-reviewed journals and co-authored a surgical atlas widely used in the field. He has also lectured nationally and locally on topics ranging from airway trauma to implant complications.
